How did you find out about this company?

We wanted to work with the U.S. based companies as there were a lot of options available for us here, but we were not able to find a perfect deal for our project. Then we decided to search for the best software companies in India and found a lot of good information on a website. We narrowed down our choices to a few companies and decided to move forward with them which had a presence in the US. TeachAhead was one of them and we saw that they had some experience with the construction industry, so we finally decided to contact them and move forward with them for our project.

Did you have some documents like wireframes ready or you just had an idea when you approached this company?

For the management of our project, I developed a database for our company. A lot of contractors were willing to purchase and showed interest in using the database. However, most of them don’t have enough money to spend on such software, so I decided to look for a development company that could help me in converting this database into a SaaS (software as a service) product.

How was the first few interaction with this company, did you find anything interesting in first few interactions that helped you decided on hiring this company?

When we decided to move forward with them I called them and the manager of TechAhead(Judy) picked up the call. After having a conversation with her, we were really confident about making a deal with them as they made us so comfortable about what could be the experience and other things related to our project. After this, we decided to hire them for our project.

How did you find out about this company?

When we visited India last year, we met a number of developers and eventually we shortlisted two potential vendors. TechAhead was one of them and after having a conversation with them about the project we decided to make a deal with them and we moved forward with them for our project.

Did you have some documents like wireframes ready or you just had an idea when you approached this company?

Initially we had a detailed functional design document and XD assets (developed for the prototype and since updated with what we learned from that) which we provided them. We needed help in Cross-platform development, improved functionality, additional revenue streams within the business model and fewer crashes than the iOS prototype. We had a functioning prototype in the iOS App Store but we wanted to re-apply what we have learned from that to build an MVP (with functioning revenue model), expand the app to Android and develop an initial cloud footprint to facilitate future scalability.

How was the first few interaction with this company, did you find anything interesting in first few interactions that helped you decided on hiring this company?

We found TechAhead most enthusiastic of the two companies which we shortlisted as they responded quickly to our questions about our proposed scope of work and how they would tackle that. Their proposal also seemed more tailored to our specific project. They put their technical team along with their sales team for feedback on our proposal which was one of the reasons we decided to hire them for our project.

We started with creating a vendor partnership program for the vendor selection process and TeachAhead enrolled in our program. They qualified our criteria and we decided to move forward with them for the further selection process for our project.

Whenever we need quick external help for deadline-based projects we reach out to our vendors and TeachAhead has been a reliable vendor for our company. We had an ongoing engagement and not a specific collaboration with them. We needed help in meeting specific deadlines and external quality assurance support.

How was the first few interaction with this company, did you find anything interesting in first few interactions that helped you decided on hiring this company?

When we were having the selection process through the vendor partnership program we found TechAhead was one of the best options that were available for us and they also met the necessary criteria on which we needed to work upon.
